About The Project

Hello boys and girls, you seem to have stumbled across my project. it’s a pretty simple project, it works like this: you say something to me and instead of saying something back I make you some art. It’s more like a conversation than a project really, like a conversation it only works if you say something, so email askletty@gmail.com and lets talk. 

Still feeling a little reticent? Thats okay, I’ve pre-emptively answered most of your questions below. 

Who are you?

I’m Letty. You should think of me like an agony aunt, not the sort of agony aunt who would give you good advice about you marital problems, but the kind who might distract you from them for a while. 

How do I take part in the project?  

Talk to me. Get in touch using the ask box or email askletty@gmail.com . 

What kind of thing do you want me to say?

Ask me questions, tell me lies, moan about your boss. It can be big or small, silly or serious, anything goes, just say something.

What do I get?

I will write you a letter and make you a thing. I don’t know what the thing will be, but it will exist and it will be made just for you. 

You make me something? How do I get it?

If you send me your address in your email I’ll post it to you. Otherwise it will be online so whilst you won’t have it you can visit it and know it is yours. 

If I give you my address will you do sinister things with it?

No, well I might rearrange the letters in it so it says rude things but I won’t give it to anyone else or use it to do voodoo or anything.  

Will it cost me anything?

nothing but your time.

What if I want to remain anonymous?

Thats fine, you can use the ask box anonymously if you don’t want me knowing who you are, or just tell me you don’t want your name online in the email. Or use a pseudonym, pseudonyms are cool.  

Will you respond everyone?

I’ll try my very best.

How long will it take for you to respond?

That depends on what you say, and how many people are taking part. Hopefully between one and three weeks. 

Why are you doing this?

Because I like making art and connecting with people. Well, that and because of some pretentious theories I want to explore.   

What do you get out of it?

Enjoyment and if all goes well a decent grade for my degree.
